Solar panels of a solar power plant on the site of Indian vehicle manufacturer Maruti Suzuki are reflected in the panel of a new car at Manesar on the outskirts of New Delhi on June 3, 2014. The solar power plant consists of 3,960 mono-crystalline modules with rating of 245-255Wp. The power generated from the solar power plant is synchronized with the captive power supply and is used in the manufacturing process at Maruti Suzuki's Manesar facilities. In addition to power generation, the solar panels prevent evaporation loss of water from the water lagoon. The company is attempting to fulfill their solar renewable obligations through this solar power plant.
